After classical cello cursus (cello prize and jazz D.E) and learning the orchestra with maestro Jean Claude Hartemann, Alain Grange explores the sound and improvisation fields of the cello, first through rock then jazz. The cellist is distinguished by his eclecticism, from the Comédie Française to the IXI quartet, he has accompanied the diva Julia Migenes on stages around the world, but also Abed Azrié, Joachim Kühn, Dominique Pifarely, Jean-Charles Richard...

On stage : Pioneering film-concerts with Maguelone Vidal Trio Palacio (Jean-Jacques Ruhlmann, Olivier Cahours), The Hypnos trio (Edouard Ferlet, Joël Grare).
