Herbie Hancock: "when I improvise I compose quickly and when I compose I improvise slowly"

Itzhak Perlman: “When I teach, I teach myself”

Orchestre à l'école: a project initiated by "jazz à Tours" and supported by the town hall of Tours to bring the experience of the orchestra to the neighbourhoods, for us the Michelet school in Tours. Second year of this superb adventure, art changes people, even more so children! They can learn a demanding instrument such as the flute, clarinet, violin, cello or percussion. They can learn musical reading, improvisation, kindness, sense of effort, pleasure at school!
